Worship Styles & Times
Holy Communion Service – Sunday at 8:30 A.M.
This worship service follows an order of morning prayer and praise. Held in the front section of the sanctuary, the service includes the singing of hymns, the reading of scripture, a sermon, prayers of the people and Holy Communion each Sunday. Taking the concept of the last watch of the night before the dawn, worshippers pray for one another and all who will worship at later services as well as for our community, the church universal and the world.
The Orchard – Sunday at 9:00 A.M.
The Orchard is Latham’s contemporary worship experience held each and every Sunday morning in Farley Hall (the gym). You will encounter a casual and more contemporary atmosphere with upbeat music, led by a guitar driven praise band. We strive to shape the Message into something that you can relate to in life and take home to apply. Please know this: None of us think we are perfect. In fact, most of us are a big mess. There’s no way we can judge you for anything in your life. So relax and breathe deep – you are among friends and equals.
Traditional Worship – Sunday at 11:00 A.M.
In this service held in the Sanctuary, our aim is to glorify God through timeless acts of worship such as the Apostles Creed; anthems from the Chancel Choir; congregational hymns sung to the beautiful sounds of the organ; Psalter readings and musical responses. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month.
